RECOMMENDATION FOR CARL BERNSTEIN

Classical guitarist, Carl Bernstein performed at the Jones Theater in Westcliffe, Colorado on January 28, 2007. His appearance was sponsored by In Concert, a group that brings classical music to the Wet Mountain Valley.

The theater was filled to capacity with an enthusiastic audience from Westcliffe and surrounding communities. The audience loved Bernstein’s relaxed, yet professional manner and especially appreciated his conversational introductions to the music on the program. The program included a diverse selection from the classical guitar music and Latin American music repertoire as well as original compositions. Throughout the performance his technical mastery and expressiveness were exceptional.
